​Chris Mowe b. 1944 was originally an antique dealer
who developed 'Colourman' restoration chalk paints in 1985,
a business still run by his daughter in Devon

He has been creating naïve folk art objects since the late 1960’s

 When not travelling in his camper van,
he makes art in his workshop in Cornwall
